Dear students, please note that you MUST create a question about this session as I have done. Your question is your ticket to the session. Write your questions in the form of comments here.

Noble lies is other name of white lies.

Include:

1) Maintain security of the country

2) Peace between individuals, for example the relationship between husband and wife

3) Save the lives of innocent people

and ...

Of course, I have to say that these lies are not sworn. And if they are exposed not have much impact.

This question is not going to be responded to in the class as it may arouse some problems. Please do NOT make religion-based questions.

But I can bring some source for this.
We also saw an example about this on movies.
Surely you have seen "Prophet Yousof" movie.

The point is that we are supposed to not talk of the realms of religion and politics.

That's right.

NO RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL NEGOTIATIONS ARE ALLOWED AS WE ARE RECORDING THE SESSIONS.

Ok!
So this question is without numbering to be discussed in class.
Ok?

I didn't see video file because it is difficult for me that i understand it.
If it is what I know;
Perhaps it be harmless but isn't unimportant!
I see it has a big result and is necessary to say.

Please note that we are not going to talk about 'white lies'. The topic is 'telling lies' as you can see in the title of this course.

I said that because all of your questions are related to white lies.

Dear students,

Please put a number before your questions so that we could refer to them more easily in the class.

Thanks.

So the habit will leave spontaneous!

men or women?

this question has a general aspect.

Social and employment conditions and policies that govern a society can be effective in lying. We can't say with sure which more lie? men or women?

Dear Fatemeh;
I think that the questions should be sent separately until we can send our answers to reply this.

That's right dear Gilnar.

Let's create an independent entry for each question to be able to refer to them more easily.

12. How can parents help their children in avoidance of telling lies? Or what should parents do to have honest children who hate telling lies?

13. Consider a situation that a person is addicted and doesn't mind telling lies. How can we help him/her be aware of the disadvantages of telling lies?

Sometimes it can be doing.

I think lying destroys relationships. If you’ve ever been lied to , you know how difficult it can be to ever trust that person again.

When you lie, even if you think others will never find out, you will almost certainly create a barrier of hurt in your relationship.

Most people put up with things because of fear. They are afraid of looking bad, afraid of being judged negatively by others, afraid of rocking the boat, causing trouble, making enemies.

For more than 2 milleniums philosophers have been discussing about this challenging problem. I thing " harmless lies" can bring us, i mean have the potential, to ethical relativism.. you now already the devastating consequence of this doctrine..

I think the problem is this...we can't draw a lucid demarcation between harmless lie and non harmless one. What do you think? Can we have such a boundary?
